Hi, Kim Here

The founder and Pilates Practitioner at ThinkPilates

My commitment to Pilates is your gain

Pilates is my passion, my go-to and my happy space. It keeps me grounded and connected with myself. I believe it’s my duty to share the power of Pilates and the positive impact it can have on your lifestyle.

As a young girl I was constantly corrected on my alignment being a pigeon-toed walker and runner. Wanting to find strength and stability in my body I was drawn to Pilates. I don’t believe the human body has to be limited by the conditions imposed on it. I believe that life can be better. You can be stronger, and more flexible than you are today. Call me a Pilates nerd but I love it and my passion is your gain.

I have devoted my life to becoming the most educated and qualified Pilates Practitioner that I can be. I hold an Advanced Diploma of the Pilates

method (10839NAT) through National pilates training and Pilates ITC, the highest level of qualification in the Pilates sector in Australia and I am a level 2 member of Pilates Alliance Australasia..

I regularly practise Pilates for my own well being. My clients love when I have taken the time to expand on my Pilates knowledge and adding to theirs from attending courses around the world. The difference it has made to my life is staggering.

I want you to experience that same awesome level of freedom and relief that I have achieved. I want Pilates to fit into your life and around your current commitments, which is why I offer flexibility in practice times and studio availability.

Choose

I am a keen road bike rider which encourages a bad posture, Kim has taught me pilates tricks to correct this on the bike. Due to better core strength my performance on the bike has improved as has my swimming.I strongly encourage my patients to take up pilates. Thanks Kim on many fronts! Also… did I mention it was fun?

“Scoliosis Under Control”

I started Pilates when I realised how much I was sitting at work and listening to people talk about their muscle/movement issues. Had tried gyms in my younger days and knew I needed more specific instruction due to my scoliosis. I feel like I’m much more conscious of the “bossy” side of my scoliosis.”

“Improved Strength and Mobility”

We have been attending two sessions a week at Think Pilates since my husband suffered a stroke in 2015. His left side was left weakened…Kim has had a great impact on both our lives.

Her patience is unlimited, and she encourages us to try harder without causing any stress or strain. Kim has our full confidence because we feel that we have improved greatly in strength and mobility.”
